We at The Bad Deal are stoked that the Good People at Roberta’s and elsewhere are opening up a day after Chuck Norris sneezed Hurricane Sandy struck.
Restaurants aren’t just one of the backbones of New York City’s economy. Restaurants are where many of us live, at least for a few hours every day. That’s as true for waiters, chefs, sommeliers & managers as it is for diners, critics & writers. Our hearts are breaking for the losses at Governor, Red Hook Lobster Pound, Tribeca Grill and elsewhere. But we’re grateful to get back out and eat out.
